Description: Baby doll by Ella Smith, indestructible doll with a nice face, original paint not touched up, original slip and probably the antique dress.. Measuring 23", this later doll with molded ears and gold painted boots is hard stuffed and pretty heavy. Made in Roanoke Alabama around the mid twenties or earlier. Hand painted doll is unique and no two dolls made by Ella Smith's company are exactly alike. Flower added with a straight pin to hide the hole in the bodice of the dress. There is a split across the knuckles on one hand shown in last picture. Gold boots. Thanks for looking!
