Description: Antique English Victorian Thomas Webb Morrocan Tapistry Pat. Hand Painted VasePresented is a beautiful four-inch tall antique glass vase made in England during the late 19th century. This Victorian era piece is made from semi-opaque opaline glass, white with yellow overlay, and is hand-painted in raised impasto-style with colorful flowers and Greek key borders. This piece is by Thomas Webb in the Moroccan Tapestry pattern. There are no maker's marks on the vase, as is typical of British glass of this time period. The condition of this antique is excellent. You will see in magnified close-ups little specs of gold gilt that once highlighted most borders of the painted designs but is all but gone. The gold will shine in direct light, and enhances the luster of the piece. There are no chips or cracks and colors and designs and vivid, as you can see in our photos.
