Description: A spiral-columned goosneck desk lamp, marked Faries Pat. 1184906. That patent was applied for in 1915. Cast iron base underneath the brass (or bronze?) base making a heavy lamp just under 6 lbs. 24.5” tall when stretched to full extent. Base approx. 6” diameter with minor dents. There are three tiny holes around the lower lip of the base as if the lamp had been pinned down to a tabletop at some point. Recommend replacing the plug with a new one, since the current plug is just electrical-taped in place. Bulb not included.
