Description: This is a nice antique 2 gallon stoneware crock with its original lid having a large and bold cobalt scroll work floral design. It is marked "F.B. Norton & Co. Worcester, Mass" and dates to the 1860’s. It is in good condition overall with a nice patinated surface and having no apparent repairs or large cracks. The crock has a few very small indentations on the top rim, they look like they may be from the factory? There is a small hairline near the top rim that does not extend inside the rim/body. There is one small chip at the bottom rim. The lid having a loss and small hairline, it is sturdy without and movement a hairline. Please see all photos for condition.
