Description: Antique German 24” Bisque Bebe Jutta Puppe doll #1349, made by Simon and Halbig (S+H). The Jutta line was named for Countess Jutta, a patroness of Sonneberg. Medium brown wig that feels soft and smooth like human hair. Sleepy brown glass eyes (missing eye lashes), painted upper and lower lashes, painted eyebrows, red accented eyes and nostrils, red open lips showing upper four teeth, tiny dimple on chin. PIERCED EARS with dangle earrings. Marked on back of neck: 1349 Jutta S & H. Antique composition body that is nicely strung and original to the doll, red accented toes and fingers. Note the stamp on her back. One index finger is missing on her right hand. Her clothing is a cotton dress, slip, pantaloons and cap that appear to be original to the doll. Also original shoes and socks. It was apparent that the shoes had never been untied before I removed them to inspect the feet. I am not a doll expert and have described it to the best of my ability. All items come from a non-smoking home and are in very good condition unless otherwise stated above.
