Description: This antique Cast Iron Danish Cake Pan was made by Griswold. Expressly for making Danish Aebleskivers cakes. Underside identification is clearly impressed in the Cast Iron: “GRISWOLD 962 No. 32 MADE IN U.S.A.” From end of Handle measures 14”. Pan diameter is 9 1/4”. Height is 1 3/4”. Excellent condition. No rust, no scratches or dents. No discoloration. This Aebleskiver Pan has been stored in a cabinet for several decades since the passing of my Danish Grandmother who had used this for several previous decades. Not sure if she was original owner, but her ownership dates to prior to 1930. Recommended that the winning bidder uses vegetable oil to re-season this in the oven before use.
