Antique Handmade Pinwheel Patchwork Quilt Old Shirting Fabric 86 x 94"

Description: DESCRIPTION: Very charming vintage/antique Pinwheel pattern patchwork quilt - I would guess it dates to the 1930s or so. It features old cotton shirt fabrics and some solids in a harmonious blend of shades of red, blue, black, tan, cream and white. The background fabric on top and the quilt backing are done with what looks like a shirting fabric with a cream background and brown and gray stripes. The quilt is hand pieced and hand quited. The quilting is rather widely spaced and the batting material is fairly thick, so this would be a warm quilt. The quilt measures about 86" by 94" and is shown on a queen size bed.
