Description: Very unusual yellow flinque enamel sterling silver mounted inkwell, fully hallmarked by Henry Clifford Davis (HCD). The silver mounting is loose (easily glued back on) and there are some blemishes on the edges of the enamel work. The crystal body is in good shape, the hinge is in good order. Base is cut and polished. The date letter 'n' Birmingham dates it to the year 1912, and it really does have that pre-war charm to it. The HCD makers mark is still legible. Would add some nice colour to any collection and will always retain value, being a HCD piece. To be shipped tracked.
