Measuring 7' 6" long from the buckle to the end of the leather tongue, the brass bells are graduated from 3 1/4 inches to the smallest ones being an impressive 2 1/4 inches. The original leather strap is 2 inches wide, versus the normal 1 to 1 1/2 inch. We have put a normal size set of sleigh bells next to it in two photos so you can see how dramatically beautiful this piece is.From 1870, this piece is in amazing, beautiful condition and sounds beautiful. The buckle should be attached on the other end. It is unmarked. This is the jewel for any sleigh bell collector and will be a keeper.
