Description: Antique John Maddock and Sons of England Royal Viteous Tranferware Pitcher This 6 quart pitcher is certainly the biggest picture we’ve offered for sale. Made in Burslem, Staffordshire, UK between 1880-1896, 11 3/4“to the handle. The bottom is 5 inches in diameter. The pitcher is ivory in color, embossed with a golden ribbon, and accented with hand painted tiny red and green rose bouquets. The rim is sprinkled with gold gilt that is rubbed off in certain areas from over 100 years of use. There are no chips, crazing. There are some minor scuff marks. We take PayPal for payment and charge sales tax for all California buyers do not present a valid resale license number. Our postage stated is for US residents only. International buyers will have to inquire as to postage. California buyers will pay sales tax unless they present a valid resale number. We always throw in a little extra vintage gift with our orders.
