Description: Available to you in this listing is one early electric wall sconce. It is an early GECO ( General Electric co) circa 1895-6 socket and factory holder. It has great patina and is in as acquired condition. These short shell straight slot round contact sockets were made before they used mica disks to insulate .... It has normal wear for its age, and i do my best to point out any flaws in pictures. I would recommend replacing the original wiring for daily use though, and you'll have to find a suitable shade(lol) ... View ALL photos for dimensions and overall condition-they are of the item you will receive. This is a truly excellent fixture piece, all the important stuff is here. It has become increasingly difficult to find original electric fixtures that date to the early1890's. Please view all photos, they are of the actual item/s you will receive. I no longer take returns due to unreasonable terms considering the fact we are selling antiques....BUT I DO STAND BEHIND EVERY ITEM I OFFER FOR SALE!!I am also happy to answer any questions, or add a pic of a detail i missed.
