Description: Offered is this beautiful antique Limoges oyster plate. Made by Haviland and Company in Limoges, France during the late 1800's.It has their makers mark in green on the back. It features five wells for oysters and is decorated with with gold leaves and flowers on the rim. The oyster wells are brushed with heavy gold and sprinkled with flowers. The porcelain plate has a slight swirl effect in the mold. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It measures almost 7.75 inches wide. A wonderful addition to your collection.
