Description: This vintage miniature portrait brooch came from a local estate but I could not figure the actual date although it could be quite early. I find the hand painted portrait of the young blonde girl with a blue bow and blue ruffle at the neck to be charming in it's simplicity. The painting is signed Rose. It is set in a marked sterling brooch which measures 1 3/4 inches high and 1 3/8 inches wide with a good safety clasp. . The condition is vintage excellent. Would make a wonderful Doll House portrait as well.
