Description: You can't appreciate how gorgeous this little bowl is until you look at the close-up pictures. The blue and red mixed with the hand painted gold moriage (decorating technique) is striking-I envy the person with this set! This bowl has some minor wear but is in great condition. As with many of my items, it has a story I will share. My grandparents lived in Newington, NH which was 2 hours away from our Keene, NH home. We had a family of 7 and 3 of the 5 kids were dreadfully car sick. The trips to Grammie and Grampa's were few. However, we did go there for Thanksgiving one year and I will never forget it because it was so exciting to be there. This bowl was one of Grammie's favorites, and she had it out with fudge in it!! Yum! Yay!! I have that fond memory of this beautiful bowl. I hope your family can make a wonderful memory with it too! Thank you!
