Description: This antique Northwood berry bowl is a stunning piece of carnival glass that will add a touch of elegance to any table setting. The bowl features a beautiful amethyst color glass with a scalloped edge and is adorned with a pattern of grapes and grapevines (cable). The round shape of the bowl measures 5 inches in diameter and has a depth of 2.75 inches. This vintage piece was manufactured in 1910 in the United States and has an impressed backstamp in the center of the bowl. The bowl also has a footed base and is a part of the Amethyst Grapes and Cable Carnival Glass product line. Perfect for serving fruits or as a decorative piece, this bowl is a must-have for any collector of antique glassware. The berry bowl is in very good condition. There is one area on the inside of the bowl where the iridescence is slightly muted (see close up picture, #10). There are no chips or cracks. There is a bit of extra glass on the underside of the foot - it's how it was made when the bowl was formed from the molten glass (see final picture). It does not impact the stability of the bowl.
