Description: This is an incredible fashion plate from the Regency Era (think Bridgerton) from November 1808. It features 2 ladies is dresses, one with short hair. This was the fashion during a short while and was supposedly inspired by the French Revolution. This fashion plate was removed at some point in time from La Belle Assemblee, a magazine from the 1800s that was full of gossip, fashion, and other things a lady would have wanted and needed to be fashionable! At some point in time, someone wrote numbers above each lady in pencil at the top of the page. As I was not that person, I have no idea why this would have happened! This is a great example of fashion material from over 200 years ago and a perfect reference of fashion for those who like to recreate dresses from this era!
