Description: Description This is a great door that was salvaged from a closed convent just outside of New York City. It is made of oak and has 6 flat panels framed in ornate moldings. The front is unpainted and inside is painted white. Most hardware is included except a skeleton key and the doorknobs. It measures 32 inches wide by 81.5 inches tall. It is 1.75 inches thick. Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. There are small nail and screw holes from various hardware. There might be stickers and tape on the door. The convent is being converted to another use and construction is happening in the building so the doors are covered in dust, dirt, small paint splatters and bits of joint compound but will clean up nicely. Please see the pictures carefully. Ref: 42205 X Shipping Please inquire with your zip code and I will get you a quote quickly. You can also pick up in York, PA 17403. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
