Description: Large impressive art nouveau photo frame Hallmarked Silver photo Frame picture frame with glass. Lovely elegant design typical of the peroid with a free flowing organic form. Hallmarked Birmingham 1917 - This was highly desirable back when it was new and is still desirable today. This is an antique silver photo frame and shows its age. I personally love this worn and tired appearance. This is not new and has signs of wear and multiple owners. That been said, the high relief silver work is in fantastic condition. The silver is lifting in places and a small split to the right hand side, furthermore there are two areas of silver loss. Please see photo. It still displays well. The back and strut are firm and hold the frame well.
