Painted in oil in pastel colours with a deep summer blue sky showing the length lake view from the upper terraces sporting the tall cypress trees & beautiful red shrubbery terracotta roof tiles & chalky path's, you just yearn to be there. Condition Report please note any white dots are reflection from camera. remarkably good condition for the age with no rips tears or canvas sag or over - paint touch ups craquelure is present as with most oil painting's of this age & this is still stretched on original stretchers although frame has been replaced at a later date & could be reframed again if required. Measurements are Lake Lucerne Framed approximately 62 cm X 40 cm - aperture 52 X 30 cm.
