Description: Up for auction is a lovely antique pewter syrup pitcher. it has a side hinge on the lid and a wicker wrapped handle. I don't see any dents or damage. I don't see a makers mark. I found a similar pitcher on the internet recently that suggested it was made in Augsburg, Germany in the middle 1700's. This syrup measures 8 1/4" in height. It is a survivor.
