Description: 1880's - 1910 PUNCH AND JUDY WOODEN HAND PUPPET SET OF 11 - RARE COLLECTION. Gorgeous set of 11 c1880's, possibly earlier, Punch and Judy hand puppets made in Germany. This is an absolutely fabulous set featuring several different characters from the Punch and Judy story. Each puppet is beautifully hand carved and painted. There are some paint chips / dings, understandably so, given the well known characteristics of a Punch and Judy show and being well over 100 years old. ت Each puppets’ clothing is intact - there are a few small tears, loose threads and/or faded areas here and there. All hands and legs are present with the exception of a few missing feet. (Please reference photos & video) Overall, this set is in excellent condition given its age! It is rare to find these in a such a large set and in this condition.
