Description: Rare version of a milk glass egg with hatching chick. This was hand blown in the late 1800s, an example can be found in Newbound’s ‘Collector’s Encyclopedia of Milk Glass’. It would have originally been hand painted, some specks of which still remain. It’s in great condition with no chips or cracks. The pontil mark is clear at the back. Measures 3.75” long x 3.5” wide. Great piece of history.
