Description: A collection of autumn, a time capsule of late 19th century America, and possibly the warmest, crinkliest quilt you'll find all year. This four-patch chain has an abundance of fabrics - madder browns, fugitive purples, and an occasional indigo calico, overdid green, and double or cinnamon pink (it's binding is actually a double pink!) Its red grounding & backing and its soft & crinkly texture make it perfect for the cozy season ahead. This one has been well loved in its long life - many fabric squares are worn out and the binding is loose in spots. See photos for examples of wear. It could absolutely be restored, or could be used as is in a stack or draped on a chair (or over your lap!) It has been hand washed and air dried in the sun. Size: 64" x 82"
