Description: A beautiful antique retablo of Alma de Maria framed in a gold frame under museum glass. This retablo is painted on tin, as the earlier retablos were done on copper. When I bought this not too long ago, for whatever reason I thought it was bigger. I was wanting to put it in a particular place in my home but it was too small for that area. This is the second time I have done that! My bad. But good for whoever would love this beautiful painting. It has beautiful colors and the work is very well done. With retablos they are all one of a kind works but usually the same subject matter. The better the folk artist, the better the work will be on these pieces. Each and every retablo is unique and was used for devotion and was cherished. Each beautiful in their own way. Great piece!
