Description: REMINGTON (“straight line” stamp), 1920 to 1940.3-3/8” closed "Swell-End" jack knife.Steel bolsters and liners, brass pins.Jigged brown bovine bone handles have crisp jigging, no cracks or damage.Both blades have strong snap, half stops, no wobble.Shows light use - never sharpened.Both blades are full - each has specks and patina on the factory finish, large blade has minor edge dings. A very nice old Remington knife with character.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
