Description: Antique Stanley No. 358 Frame No. 3 20" Cast Iron Miter Mitre Box Measures 20 1/2" long, 10" deep, and 18 1/2" tall. The guides measure 16" tall. The frame measures 20 1/2" long and 4 1/2" deep. This miter box is designed for a 28" x 5" backsaw which is not included. The miter box appears to be missing all the leveling screws, the trip lever, both stock guides, and the crossbar. The spring that prevents the rear guide from slamming onto the brass depth stops is missing as well. All 4 depth stops are still present although one has a replacement wingnut screw in the screw hole as shown. The thumb screw on the front guide has been replaced as well as shown. The assembly moves easily and locks into place as shown. The board on the cast iron frame needs to be replaced as it is badly chewed up as shown.
