Antique sterling carved jadeite pendant chain necklace 18"

Description: Here is this very sweet early 20th century antique carved and pierced untreated natural jadeite two-piece pendant chain necklace carefully examined under magnification the sterling silver was once gold vermeil but the goldplating has mostly worn off, both pieces of jade match and are a light and dark mottled untreated natural green jade with a fine carving on both sides of the big pendant and on the front of the round pendant. Total weight 8.2 grams and the main portion of the pendant measures just under 1.5 inches and the circular portion only carved on the front measures 9.7 mm around in diameter. So both pieces are just over 2 inches with the circular carving attached to a double sterling silver chain with a sturdy clasp marked sterling. The necklace measures 18 inches across on a ruler and the clasp closes securely.
