Description: This antique tea set from Charles Suart Harris, John Aldwinckle and James Slater, and William Robert Smiley is a true gem for collectors. Crafted in sterling silver, it exudes elegance and sophistication. The set includes a tray and hallmarks, adding to its charm and authenticity. The tea set is from the late 19th century, making it a rare find for antique enthusiasts. Its intricate design and high-quality composition make it a valuable addition to any collection. Whether you're a tea lover or a collector, this antique set is sure to impress. This was handed down in our family but we just don't entertain like people used to. We would love to see this go to someone who would use it! It's a beautiful set and has been well cared for. It was purchased overseas when my grandfather was stationed there in the airforce. There are multiple artisans that crafted the different pieces of this set. All are listed, with an explanation of the hallmarks and their meanings, on one of the attached photos. This will be shipped in two seperate boxes. Shipping is based on the wieght and measurements of the boxes they will be shipped in and accounts for shipping to your location. There are no extra shipping charges involved, this is just heavy so its going to be expensive to ship. Local pick up is also an option if you live near Seattle. If this is the option you would like, meeting details can be worked out after payment is recieved. I have had several questions about the platter and weight of everything. To clarify; the platter we think is silver plated because we could not identify the hallmarks on the bottom of it. The rest of the set is 925 sterling. The weight of all the sterling pieces (not including the plated platter) is 3929 grams. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
