The clock clock has been beautifully finish with a decorative punk and gild finish, as can be seen from the photographs. The case is nicely shaped with a drop dial where the pendulum can be viewed and has a lovely mirror back. The lovely little convex dial is marked out with Arabic numerals, and has lovely shaped fingers. The convex dial has a brass bezel with convex glass, which can be opened to access the dial and this is then surrounded in a lovely gilt decoration. Below the dial is lovely scroll work which sets it off superbly. As can be seen from the photographs the movement is nice and clean. The clock is happily ticking away and striking the hours and also striking once at half past on a bell. The clock comes complete with it's pendulum and winding key. DIMENSIONS: The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are: - 9 inches (23 cm) wide across the case - 15 inches (38 cm) high - 5 inches (13 cm) deep - 6.25 inches (16 cm) diameter across the dial CONDITION: With regards condition, the clock is in superb condition, as can be seen from the photographs. Just minor marks / chips to the gilt finish commensurate with age and careful use. This really is a wonderful, Cartel wall clock which is in lovely condition.
