Description: Antique, Tofts, Brown/ Beige and Green Pitcher with Pewter Lid. This is a beautiful and rare, pitcher jug made of ceramics and it comes with a pewter lid that swings open. The pewter lid as shown in photos is in great condition. This pitchers pewter lid is marked: Tofts, Patent. On the base is a written pattern number which is hard to read. There are two markings, on the Toft's lid underside a round button, "S" in the center, and "Toft's Patent" which dates this pitcher to the late 1800's, early 1900's. Measures: This jug measures 6.75 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide Condition: Overall this pitcher is in very good condition with minimal wear to the paint, considered normal age wear. There is a hairline crack on the bottom of the pitcher. Please also refer to photos as they are part of the description. I will send pictures of measurements upon request.
