Description: Antique set of 2 Spanish decorative plaques, from Toledo, early 20th century, completely made of blued steel and damascened in 24k gold, they are 2 large plaques, of good thickness of steel, unusual for their size, usually damascened pieces are small pieces, both have scenes from Don Quixote de la Mancha, they have signs of corrosion, see photos, in parts the damascened has come off and lost its shine, but the works of art can still be appreciated, because these antique damascened plaques were 100% handmade, they were made in many workshops in Toledo in that time . Beautiful decorative set!!!, each one measures: 20 cm (8in) x 18 cm (7.2in), and both plaques weigh 1140 grams!
