Description: Artisan crafted abstract swirl Universal brand silver plated fork. It began life in 1919 as a Deco style dinner fork manufactured by Universal silver plate in the Saybrooke pattern At some point an artist got a hold of it and turned it into this completely unique cuff bracelet. There are signs of wear on it. Consistent with its age and its previous life as a fork and artisan tools that shaped it into something new. Very solid. Very heavy. Silver plate looks very intact. It will hold its form very well as it is challenging to bend. My wrist is about 6.5 inches where the bracelet is pictured. Wearable art and history!
