Description: This lovely old quilt is made of just one indigo and one double pink fabric used in both the blocks and borders. It is expertly hand pieced except for the blue corners in the large white blocks, which are appliqued (circled in picture). This is a technique I have seen before, though not frequently, in the Double Irish Chain pattern. It measures approximately 81" x 81" and is unused. Other than some overall age toning and a couple age spots shown in the pictures and which should wash out, it is as strong and perfect as the day it was completed. It would quilt up beautifully.
