Antique, Victorian, Deep Rich Colors, Roses. Mostly Shabby But Oh So Chic!

Description: Hi There & Welcome To My Auction Today for your consideration is a breathtaking antique Victorian 34" by 66" rug. Please forgive my description as I honestly know nothing about antique rugs, other than it's extremely old, antique, victorian era. The deep rich Victorian colors are breathtaking. However, It is in very poor condition. Even though I LOVE this rug!! My problem is I have absolutely no place to put it. If I had an antique frame with protective glass it would not fray or discolor more than it is now. I could keep it but I don't. Even though I do not know its history or what material/s or if it is handmade or weaved its Cottage decor, is very shabby but extremely chic just the way it is. If you are going to use it as it was originally made for, then keep it out of the sun. You will need to buy that weaved rubber cut-to-size mat so it will stay put because it will slip & slide & be dangerous for anyone to walk on. Edging is unraveling everywhere. Worn areas, stains on the back side can not be seen unless flipped over. This is not a small size but more medium than small. 66" long & 34" wide. My BEST GUESS it is mohair or wool. This looks & feels like the rugs that have beautiful patterns like children's, animals, flower gardens etc... it could be wool but I just don't know. I will ship it in a heavy-duty plastic turn to the back side & then ship it in a box. If you love Shabby & chic this will knock your socks off. Thanks for looking.
