Description: Antique Victorian Miniature Electrified Gone with the Wind Lamp with Flowers Click images to enlarge Description This is an original antique milk glass miniature electrified gone with the wind style table lamp. It is exactly as I purchased it many years ago It is in used condition with no damage. The design shows small flowers with leaves attached to a vine. The top and bottom look the same. The cord is about 6' long. The electrical socket looks to be screwed to the bottom globe but I have never tried to open it up. It is also weighted probably for more stability. It has the feel of sand. I suspect it's possible to return this to oil but not guaranteed. I have always used a 7 watt bulb in the socket which works fine (included).The brass socket is stamped 75W GE 125V. The round device that used to move the wick up and down is marked P&A MFG. CO. The company (Plum and Atwood Company) was founded in 1853-54 in Connecticut. The dimensions of the lamp are about 3-/2" diameter x 9" tall.
