Description: This is an old Victorian era stunning opaline glass hinged dresser box with gold gilt ormolu base from a wonderful old estate. Features cherub musicians with a pretty pink background and white enamel decorative hand painted scroll designs. The hinge work nicely and all I see to note is the bar inserted into the hinge is sticking out a bit. Doesnt effect the working of the hinge. Opens and closes properly. I see a little polish residue on the gold gilt that wipes right off. This is a most stunning box in lovely condition. You should love it. Thanks for looking. .
