This is a calling card tray, Black lacquered background with a scalloped edge and slightly raised , hand enameled with mother-of-pearl shell inlay and gilt overlay centrally , beautifully decorated with a very detailed chinoiserie countryside decor , temple , figurines Embossed makers mark on the back. Good Antique condition overall, light scratches and scuff marks to the top, three chips on the underside edges , wear to the gilt finish. The plate measures 10 ¼”(26.5 cm) in diameter.
