Description: 2 Antique Vintage Mexican Copper Brass Vermeil on Silver Mugs Cups Punch Mexico Condition:This is a pair of vintage or antique punch cups made in Mexico. They are stamped Mexico on the bottom. They have a decorative brass handle. It is a footed cup that is metal. The color on the outside is a coppery color. The interior is a silvery color. I have seen this sold as "brass vermeil on sterling silver". It was an entire punch bowl set, and the cups were identical to these. I have not tested the metal, but I believe they are either copper or brass on silver. They measure 3" tall to the top of the rim x 3.25" wide at the rim. The height to the top of the handle is 3.25". The base is 2.25" wide. Each cup weighs 5.6 oz. The combined weight is 11 oz. They are in fair condition. There is a small dent on one cup, tarnishing and patina build-up on both the interior and exterior. I am sure that given the proper cleaning, they would be brought back to their former glory.
