A GORGEOUS AND EXTREMELY RARE CIRCA 1920-23 ART DECO 15 JEWEL GENUINE SIGNED TOP QUALITY LADY’S EXTREMELY RARE ROLEX PRIMA SOLID PLATINUM AND DIAMOND LADY'S WRISTWATCH. CASE: This is an absolutely beautiful and STUNNINGLY rare 2 piece genuine ROLEX solid PLATINUM hinged back 62 DIAMOND watch case. The diamonds are all original and have a good sparkle under light as you would expect from ROLEX. The case is in excellent condition. The case has a fantastic Art deco look. The case back shows NO dings and some very light wear marks, but nothing which detriments the watch. The case sides are excellent and have a filigree design. The case back hinge is excellent. It snaps to very well. The solid platinum extended hinged lugs are solid and in good order. All diamonds are present. The inside of the case is beautifully engraved with the wording ‘ALL PLATINUM' and it is also numbered on the inside.The case measures 1.5cms (15mm) in width excluding the crown and 6.1cms (61mm) in length including the diamond set hinged lugs. DIAL: This is a wonderful genuine white dial. The dial is in fantastic condition, and all of the black painted Arabic numerals are in good condition. The dial has some age spotting and light wear here and there. The dial is unsigned which is correct for its age. (ROLEX signed dials after 1923) It has a beautiful sharp black painted 'railway' minute track around its inside. The dial has 2 fantastic original blued steel hands which look to be in excellent condition. The glass crystal is original. It is in decent condition showing some light wear marks under magnification. MOVEMENT: This is a wonderful clean genuine ROLEX high grade quality 15 jewel movement. It is FULLY signed 'ROLEX PRIMA. It is engraved with the wording 15 rubies’ and ‘Swiss made’ in a beautiful typesetting. This fantastic movement is in working order and keeps time to within a few mins per day. As always a full service would be recommended for optimum perfoemance and timekeeping. All in all this is a beautiful and genuine ROLEX PRIMA movement. BAND: This beautiful ROLEX timepiece is fitted with a brand new black leather 8mm soft feel band. As the band is new and unworn it is in excellent condition and has a steel buckle.
