Description: For your consideration is an Antique Violin - Nicolaus Amatus Fecit In Cremona 1645. All measurements are approximate. The case is a wooden coffin case that measures about 30 3/4" long, about 9 1/2 " at its widest, and about 4 1/4" tall when laying flat. The violin itself is about 23 3/4" long. The case and violin together weigh about 7 1/2 pounds. This item comes with all the accessories shown in the picture. I do not see any cracks in the wood or separation at the seams. It looks to be in solid condtion. I do not know anything about violins and am selling this "as is" so please email me with any questions you may have. Here is a little history on this violin. It was handed down from my great great Uncle who played it when he was a young boy. The violin was played at a housewarming party in the latter 1800s when my uncle and his new bride moved into a house that was located on Palmyra Road, Canfield, Ohio.
