Description: ANTIQUE WALNUT DRUM MANTLE CLOCK C.1870 Working. Lovely figuring on the walnut case. The shaped plinth is 13 inches or 33cm long. 6 inches deep or 15cm. Total height is 10" or 26cm tall. Depth of drum 4.25" or 11cm. Original back door housing gong. Enamel dial. Bezel width 6 inches or 16cm wide. Chamfered glass with edges ground to a bevel. Beading decoration to outside of the bezel ring. Intricate detailing to inside of bezel ring. Roman numerals. Original hands Some light chips to the winding arbors. Both springs are ok clock winds okay. Clock ticks. Original pendulum. Clock strikes hours and halves. The clock strikes in sync on the count wheel. Nice quality movement. Faults: original hammer striking on the gong is broken off and detached. There is no key other than my dad's personal one, but I will source a key to the buyer of this clock from my stock Total weight of the clock three and a half kilos or 7lbs.
