Featuring a squared shape with open spout, molded handle and short foot, it is decorated with a simple embossed leaf design on the handle thumb rest. Dating to around the 1890s, pitcher is marked IRONSTONE CHINA, H. BURGESS, BURSLEM. Condition is wonderful with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or damage to the body - there is one area of loss on the underside foot as shown - this can barely be seen due to the location - finish is shiny and interior is clean.
