Description: Antique Dresser Jewelry Parlor Box Wood Mirror Laced Foiled Glass Hinged This antique 11"x14" Dresser/Jewelry/Vanity/Parlor Box is made of ornatly carved wood. The top features a victorian/ baroque style picture/ print of the French FRAGONARD "La Bonne Mere" under glass. Under the lid is a mirror secured with aged lace trim. The inside is divided into 3 cubby areas lined with aged ebrossed foil. The lid is anchored by a brass or brass-like sliding hinge. The bottom is covered by felt that appears to be glued on. All finishes and hardware appear to be original. The origin, date and history of this antique-like vanity dresser box is unknown. It is in good used condition with some wear and damage from age.
