Description: For sale, a BEAUTIFUL, AND ORIGINAL OWNER THOUGHT TOUGHER TO FIND ANTIQUE "good for" trade token once used "VALUE IN EXCHANGE FOR MEALS 50 K.B.I...." at a business run by a proprietor named "KADEMENOS BROS. INC. RESTAURANTS 50...." in the historic Ohio River town of YORKVILLE, OHIO RECENTLY SOLD THE 50C VARIETY SIMILAR TO THIS FROM "PORTSMOUTH OHIO" WHICH IS ON OHIO RIVER NEAR KENTUCKY.....THIS TOKEN CAME OUT OF SAME COLLECTION, AND IS FROM "YORKVILLE OHIO"...ALSO ON THE OHIO RIVER, NEAR THE WEST VIRGINIA BORDERLOVE THESE BRASS RESTAURANT TOKENS, BACK IN EARLY 1900'S THIS ACTUALLY WAS WORTH 50C TOWARDS A MEAL (that was a lot)....THIS CAME OUT OF A OHIO TOKEN COLLECTION, ORIGINAL OWNER THOUGHT A TOUGHER ONE TO FIND...I HAVE NO CLUE, DO NOT OWN OHIO BOOK The historic small town of YORKVILLE was originally a mining town, and has a population of 1000, and is located in Belmont & Jefferson County, on the Ohio River, just across the water from West Virginia....near towns of Glen Robbins & Rayland Ohio.....and also close to Betty Zane West Virginia and Clearview West VirginiaTrade token is brass, round, about 30mm in diameter , and it displays nicely.
