Description: For your consideration is an antique Asch's ENT, Nasal Septum instrument set. This beautiful cased set by Dr. Asch would date to between 1830 and 1880. There are a total of 7 pieces including the box; a pair of angled septum straightening forceps patented, a pair of straight septum cutters, a pair of angular septum cutters, 2 small hand-held surgical knife or elevators. The case has a leather exterior and inside is marked on the top Asch's Set of Instr. Measures 9 1/2" long by 5" wide by 2 1/4 " tall. The interior is in very nice shape as are the instruments. This set is considered one of the first of its' kind in the field of Plastic Surgery for work done on the septum. An outstanding set for the collector. Please view images for cosmetic detail.
