Description: This vintage, 1950s, Apple, Peeler, Parer, Core, Slicer by Goodell Company, comes in its original box from White Mountain. The metal and wood handle provides a sturdy grip for efficient slicing, coring, and peeling of fruits like apples and potatoes. The straight blade edge ensures clean cuts, while the added feature of a slicer makes it more versatile. The medium-sized peeler is in working condition and would make a great addition to any collection of kitchen tools and gadgets. The color of the peeler is green, red and metal, 9-inch that slides in greater length upon using and approximately 6-inch height, depending on when in use, upon what it's attached too or not. This was my 94 year old, Father's, from the Pacific Northwest. He had beautiful, Apple Trees. King Apple was one of his favorites and best for pie, was Gravenstein. My mom made apple pies with us 5 kids helping. It was a great tool and continues to be sturdy and well made!
