“Appledore” Wedgwood China *SAUCERS ONLY* 5.75” Green/Brown Mark

Description: This listing is for elegant saucers in Wedgwood’s discontinued “Appledore” bone China pattern. While the pricing is for one, please know there are 16 available. The “Appledore” pattern has a turquoise blue laurel wreath around the buttery creamy rim of the saucer. The background of the item in the center is white with a gold line outlining the center design. There is a basket of fruit anchoring the design. Each saucer measures 5 3/4” in diameter and 7/8” deep. Please note there are a number of different sized saucers for this pattern. Please make sure this is the size you need. I have listings for three different sizes (I have 7 that are 6 3/16” in diameter; 1 that is 6 ¼” in diameter; and 4 that are 6 ½” in diameter). The underside of each saucer bears the green and brown mark with the green urn with a line under the urn. The underside reads, “C. WEDGWOOD. Bone China. Made in England. 2. (That is all in green) AB2. APPLEDORE. USA DES PATENT 96180. (That is all in brown). W3257W. (that is in rust).” See photos for mark. There is a gold rim around the outer edge. The gold is in nice vintage condition, especially for its age. There are NO chips, cracks or repairs. Please see all photos to supplement this description.
