Use the Picture as your judge as grading is subjective. Notes: Menaion (Menaenum or Menae) was an ancient polis on the island of Sicily. The city was located about eighteen miles west of Leontini and was an inland town founded by the Sikel chief Ducetius around B.C. 459. The town was conquered by the tyrant of Syracuse Dionysius I in 396 BC along with the other Sikel cities and it appears to have been always subject to Syracuse until the Roman conquest, when, like most other Sicilian towns it obtained the right of coining in bronze.
