Recorded at New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, over the course of three nights (July 27, 28, and 30, 1987), One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism became an album that combined the gospel talents of Aretha, her sisters Erma and Carolyn, and fellow gospel singer Mavis Staples. However, this release had modest sales, peaking at #106 on Billboard's album chart, and paled in comparison to Aretha's legendary classic Amazing Grace recording. The album consists of 17 tracks with a run time of 89+ minutes. The album up for sale is a December, 1987 release by Arista Records and manufactured by Hauppauge Record Mfg, Ltd. The cover is in VG+ condition with very few signs of wear along the edges and corners. There is mild signs of disc wear on the front cover. The photos and graphics show no sign of wear or discoloration. The interior covers of this gatefold album are in EX condition. The paper inner sleeves are original and in VG+ condition. The recordings have been cleaned, tested and recorded using Audacity. All tracks are free of skips, but there is mild background noise that consists of random "clicks" that do not significantly interfere with the music. The record surfaces show only mild signs of wear and there is no evidence of scratches or scuffs. The record surfaces are glossy and all labels are clean and intact.
