Description: The Armenia 500 Dram banknote is part of the 2017 Numismatic products issued to commemorate Noahs Ark thats known to rest on Mount Ararat in modern day Armenia. This particular banknote comes in uncirculated condition. The obverse of the banknote bears the Noahs Ark as its registration device. It features a woodcut of Etchmiadzin Cathedral building which is a work of Friedrich Parrot. In the background is the backside of Mount Ararat. The front of the note also displays a green-to-gold RollingStar LEAD reliquary with a Noahs Ark fragment and a gold-to-green SPARK Live flying dove with a branch of olive in its beak. On the reverse of the note is a landscape of Mount Ararat as viewed from the Chor Virap Monastery. It also depicts Noahs family as well as animals and birds.A flying eagle from Jacob Carolsfelds woodcut Noah Leaving the Ark is also visible. This 140 x 76 mm banknote has a gold-to-green Galaxy windowed security thread with a demetallized AMD / 500. It also has a watermark consisting of Noahs Ark and an electrotype 500.
